Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions
U.S., Canada and Mexico Your new Sultra Corporation ("Sultra") appliance has been manufactured to the highest quality standards and when used in accordance with the safety and operating instructions will provide you with effective, reliable service.
Sultra's warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below. Sultra warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of original retail purchase provided that all warranty guidelines are met, including product registration on sultra.com. If a defect exists, Sultra shall exchange the product with a product that is new and at least the functional equivalent to the original product (or in Sultra's absolute discretion the product may be repaired). A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Sultra's property.
Obtaining Warranty Service
To obtain service under the Warranty, please call Sultra Customer Service at 877.2SULTRA (278-5872) (or e-mail Sultra at firstname.lastname@example.org), and you will be provided with return instructions and a Return Authorization Number. You will be required to return the original product and to provide a brief written description of the problem you are having, the original proof of purchase, your name, current address and telephone number. Please remember to clearly mark the Return Authorization Number on the outer packaging when returning the defective product to Sultra!
Exclusions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by or for Sultra that can be identified by the "Sultra" trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Sultra product even if packaged or sold with Sultra products. Non-Sultra manufacturers and suppliers may provide their own warranties. This Limited Warranty does not cover: (1) damage due to misuse or abuse (including but not limited to using the product with an incorrect voltage supply), dropping, or other operation in violation of the written safety precautions provided with the product; or (2) tampering, such as the unauthorized repair or attempted repair of the product.
SULTRA LIMITED WARRANTIES ARE ONLY VALID FOR THEIR ORIGINAL END USER AND ONLY IF BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING ARE MET: (1) THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED SULTRA RESELLER; AND (2) THE PRODUCT WAS REGISTERED WITH SULTRA VIA ITS ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS AT SULTRA.COM WITHIN 21 DAYS OF ITS ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE. SULTRA WARRANTIES ARE VOID: (1) IF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT SERIAL NUMBERS HAVE BEEN REMOVED OR OTHERWISE TAMPERED WITH; (2) THE PRODUCT WAS USED WITH OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH A NON SULTRA ATTACHMENT OR ADD ON PRODUCT; OR (3) IF SULTRA'S RETURN POLICIES HAVE NOT BEEN FOLLOWED. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SULTRA SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF SULTRA CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
No Sultra reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
SULTRA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS. SULTRA SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions or limitations on the duration of implied warranties or conditions, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state or province.
REMINDER: WARRANTIES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE. SECOND-HAND ITEMS, INCLUDING SALES FROM WEBSITES SUCH AS EBAY, WALMART AND CRAIG'S LIST, ARE NOT COVERED BY A MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. THIS IS TO PREVENT COUNTERFEIT TOOLS FROM BEING SOLD AND PURCHASED BY CONSUMERS. SULTRA STANDS BY THE QUALITY OF OUR PRODUCTS WHICH IS WHY WE PROVIDE AN EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY.
Sultra Beauty Hair Tools are sold through a network of authorized dealers selected by Sultra. Some of these dealers may have internet sites on which they are authorized by Sultra to sell select products. These dealers have been chosen for their ability to properly represent and sell our products. We provide a warranty and product registration on products only sold by authorized dealers.
Unfortunately, Sultra products are sometimes sold by companies that are not authorized to do so. Products sold by these unauthorized companies are not purchased from Sultra, instead they are acquired from other sources. Due to the nature of the goods sold by unauthorized dealers, products sold by unauthorized dealers are not entitled to Sultra warranty coverage. We are using our best efforts (including this warning) to prohibit these companies from taking advantage of consumers, but these practices still exist.
